At GoSpooky, we know that the most powerful content on social media comes from real stories, told by real people. During this Pride month, with JBL, we wanted to give the LGBTQ+ community a platform for them to speak up about the importance of Pride Month but also to express their passions, voices, real moments and authenticity to the community.
JBL believes that being a true original is all about embracing who you really are, without filters or the pressure to conform. So this Pride, we helped the brand lean into that purpose with intention. We collaborated with a group of LGBTQ+ creators from across the UK, people who don’t just represent the community, but shape it. We gave them an open brief and asked one central question: “What does living your truth sound like?”
Instead of scripting answers, we stepped back and let the creators lead. Each one brought their own voice, style, and story delivered through content that was raw, expressive, and deeply personal. From powerful spoken word to intimate reflections, every post was a direct reflection of their truth.
For JBL’s social channels, this campaign was about more than visibility. It was about handing over the mic letting creators speak, not for the brand, but through it. The result was a feed that didn’t just celebrate Pride, but embodied it.
By giving creators full creative freedom and the platform to be seen and heard, we helped JBL connect with audiences in a more meaningful, human way turning up the volume on voices that matter.
This was Pride, told in their own words, their own way, shared loud and proud.
